Gorilla Knitting - Wow Gorillas gone swimming!

Up at the crack of dawn this morning. Out Bombing by 6.30.

As soon as the Wow Gorillas were released I was determined to get them in some sort of knitwear.

This lucky one gets a Gorillakini!

I imagine it will be gone by the end of the day, but I won't know as I'm off to a wedding in 10 mins!

Ohhh Nannas having Mittens!

Well technically not mittens but close. I have decided July is the season for boy's hand warmers. Although they aren't quite an appropriate seasonal knit, they are very practical and a perfect birthday treat.

Nick Cave

It was Liam's 30th Birthday last week. Rob had made him an amazing Nick Cave illustration and I tried to compliment it with a mini Nick Cave.

Here he is!

Desmond Ducker!

Its been quite a while since I've posted, but thats not to say I haven't been knitting like a mad knitty person.

Yarn Bombing is on hold at the mo while I concentrate on Birthday pressies for my nearest and dearest.

It was Evan's first birthday this week so we all went to the zoo for a little picnic party.

Introducing Desmond Ducker!

I made Evan this Duck man (following this pattern http://www.craftown.com/knit/knit43.htm) and man alive did I nearly well up when I saw Evvie give him lovely cuddles.

Cuddles!

Silly Mummy!

Pooped after a hard days play

Oscar had a little play - the first thing he did was bite his Beak.

Oooh look Nanna is in PRINT!

This is all very exciting. Theres an article in the summer issue of Cloth all about Yarn Bombing and theres a bit about lil ol' me!

Its all down to Pip who put me in contact with Matthew who wrote the article (and what a lovely read it is too). THANKS PIP!!!!!!!

I'm thinking of subscribing, its such a lovely lovely publication, all about crafty fun things.

Its been over a month since I tied anything to a lampost, knitted pressies have just taken priority recently. Hopefully I'll be able to put something up for Harbour festival.
